Job Summary :
ProStaffing, a leading staffing firm located in Conover, NC is seeking a skilled Automation Technician for 2nd and 3rd shift. The ideal candidate / s will possess a solid background in industrial automation and maintenance, with expertise in automation integration across various systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities :
Monitor equipment and processes to identify issues impacting quality and efficiency; diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
Develop and maintain preventative maintenance plans for equipment and processes.
Build and repair End of Arm Tooling (EOAT) and fixtures.
Understand and support the manufacturing process and its components.
Back up and optimize automation programs.
Utilize vision inspection systems for quality control.
Identify and resolve automation system issues.
Calibrate equipment to ensure peak performance.
PLC Programming
Required Education & Experience :
Proven experience in automation technology and maintenance.
BA or Associate in Mechatronics (Preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong background in plastics processing.
Experience with KUKA and Krauss Maffei robots (three to six axes) is essential.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Solid knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems, including vacuum systems.
Expertise in automated quality inspection systems.
