Title: 3rd Shift Machine Technician
Hours: Mon-Fri 11pm-7am
Pay: $17.50/hr ($16.50 $1 shift differential)
ProStaffing has partnered with a leading textile company conveniently located in Hickory, NC! We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Machine Technician to ensure the optimal operation and maintenance of our textile machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Job Duties:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain textile machinery to ensure peak performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
- Use computer systems to track maintenance schedules, document repairs, and adjust machine settings.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
- Train team members on equipment operation and safety protocols as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Key Skills:
- Strong computer skills
- Proven mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, preferably in the textile industry.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Previous machine maintenance experience is required for this position.
Hours: Monday through Friday 11pm-7am.
Pay: $17.50/hr
