PROSTAR Staffing has partnered with a well-known manufacturer of Fastening products and industrial supplies in the city of Arlington, Texas
We are now hiring (Job Title) who are team players, versatile, and dependable!
Cut Thread Operator Job Summary
- 16-$17.50 hourly depending on experience
- 6 : 00am to 2 : 30pm Monday to Friday, hour may vary depending on the department
- Ensures preventative maintenance has been performed on machinery before start-up Set-up die head to diameter and pitch required
- Check cut material against job tags
- Obtain master nut or thread gages for each assigned traveler from QC Set stop to thread length
- Submit 1st article to Supervisor Lead or QC for sign off on 1st article made Ensure all material has a traceability tag at the start of each job
- Mark off completed jobs on daily production schedule sheet and obtain the next job from Cut-Thread Supervisor / Lead
- Return thread gages to Supervisor / Lead after completing job(s) and at the end of shift
- Organize and clean work area 15-20 minutes before end of shift
