What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Customer Service Agent position at PROSTEEL SECURITY PRODUCTS, INC?
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Communicates with customers about order status.
• Coordinate orders to be delivered.
• Helps customers with any issues or questions about their order.
• Research customer discrepancies.
• Reconcile accounts on a periodic basis.
• Maintenance tracking of customers and orders in spreadsheets.
• Assisting in streamlining the order fulfillment process.
• Working with account receivable clerk and others to resolve account issues when necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
• Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using a computer for various tasks beyond general accounting.
• Understanding of payments, accounting, and budgeting.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates in Accounting preferred.
• At least two years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• The position is part-time and does offer a somewhat flexible work schedule.
