Civil Designer
Salary Range : $80-$100k
This role seeks an individual with a civil engineering background using AutoCAD 3D Civil, CAD proficiency, and experience in project design and construction. Civil Engineer or a Designer proficient in grading and drainage design on industrial projects (fill sites, ponds, access roads, well pads, etc.) using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
The position of Civil Design Engineer requires a candidate with a strong background in civil engineering and proficiency in CAD tools. Below is a summary of the responsibilities, qualifications, and salary range for this role :
Responsibilities :
Project Design and Construction : Contribution to civil engineering projects including site development, roads, drainage improvements, and structural foundations.
Data Analysis and Planning : Analyzing survey reports, maps, and aerial photography for effective project planning.
Civil 3D Proficiency : Managing and creating 3D surfaces in AutoCAD Civil 3D for grading and drainage design.
Project Planning and Hydraulic Design : Leading project planning and emphasizing hydraulic and hydrology design.
Documentation and Reporting : Preparation of engineering drawings, reports, and proposals for projects.
Engineering Calculations : Computing engineering calculations for design specifications, such as load requirements and pipeline hydraulics.
Site Assistance : Supporting construction and maintenance activities at project sites and managing smaller projects.
Collaboration and Project Support : Assisting senior engineers in delivering larger projects and guiding draftspersons and technicians in converting designs into working drawings.
Requirements for the Role :
