Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Product Design Lead to drive design initiatives and build a high-performing design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design and a proven ability to translate business objectives into user-centric solutions. This role involves overseeing the design process from concept to execution, ensuring products deliver exceptional user experiences and meet market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 3-5 designers, providing mentorship and fostering professional growth.
- Develop and implement design strategies for a streaming platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to define product requirements and create user-centered designs.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design processes to improve the user experience.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that reflect the brand's vision.
- Establish and maintain design guidelines, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices across the platform.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design methodologies to inform strategy.
Required Skills:
- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative product design solutions.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, or similar.
- Deep understanding of user experience (UX) principles and design methodologies.
- Ability to lead design thinking workshops and collaborative brainstorming sessions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of responsive web design and mobile-first strategies.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Required Experience:
- 5 years of experience in product design, particularly within SaaS or digital platforms.
- 2 years in a leadership role, managing and mentoring design teams.
- In-depth knowledge of the streaming industry and its user-specific needs.
- Proven track record of launching successful products to market in a timely manner.
- Experience working in Agile environments with a focus on iterative development.
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
