Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VPN, and routing protocols (BGP).
- Expertise in network security concepts and best practices (firewalls, IoT, network segmentation).
- Proficiency in network management tools and monitoring systems (SolarWinds, Cisco Prime).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cloud networking (VeloCloud), SDWAN.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Master's in IT, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Strong programming and scripting skills (Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with network performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of data center design and implementation.
- Experience with network security incident response.
- Proven track record of successfully planning, deploying, and optimizing complex network architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures.
- Analyze network performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.
- Create and maintain network documentation.
- Provide technical support to users and team members.
- Assist with the changing of SDWAN providers.
