Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions.
- Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and treatments, as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical developments and best practices in primary care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Develop and implement effective prevention and health education programs for patients.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP).
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license required or eligible to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 2 years of experience as a nurse practitioner.
