LA local candidate prefer and open to Phoenix location as well.

Hybrid: 2 onsite (Tuesday & Wednesday) the rest remote

Education

BA or BS is required

MBA preferred

Product Manager with strong General Accounting Knowledge

Coming from Accounting Software company (accounting principles for any industry and understanding accounting process). Could be a product manager for an accounting software company or large consulting firm that support accounting software clients)

Full lifecycle Product Management is needed, not a contractor that just supported an Accounting Software

This person will touch various accounting software we have(Smart Accounting, Production Accounting, Global Vista, etc.)

Must have Strong User Stories

Full lifecycle Product Management, from inception to release to follow up versions

Should know cloud and AI (ChatGPT) for research

Agile environment, yet certs not required

Accounting SaaS Product Management Experience

Entertainment Industry is not required for this JO

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the full product lifecycle for core feature and platform-focused initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet both immediate user needs and strategic objectives
• Create and refine detailed product business cases, user stories, and success metrics for initiatives spanning core features and inform our engineering teams of what problems need to be solved
• Engage deeply with users and stakeholders to identify pain points and uncover opportunities for impactful features that bring measurable value to the product
• Plan and organize releases, align development resources, and prepare the go-to-market teams to ensure success (on-time delivery, high-quality releases, measurable outcomes).
• Use data and product analytics to evaluate and adjust priorities, making informed decisions that maximize impact and align with objectives
• Continually evaluate the business case and ROI to justify on-going investment and to identify growth opportunities for related to assigned product(s)
• Foster a culture that encourages product decision making with an orientation to act fast
• Stay informed about industry trends and technical advancements to identify opportunities for product enhancements

• JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Minimum of 5-7 years of SaaS product management experience with progressive growth and demonstrated success working directly with end-users (must have direct ownership of outcomes achieved)
• Proven success managing complex, cross-functional projects from ideation through execution, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes
• Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement, leveraging user insights and analytics to iterate on product experiences
• At least 3-years of experience with SaaS solutions serving Accounting, ERP, Invoices/Purchase Orders/Payables, and/or Vendor Management verticals
• Excellent communication skills; timely communication with clear expectations
• Experience with generative-AI (Claude, ChatGPT, etc) for research
• Bonus points for entertainment industry experience (not required)
• Occasional travel may be required
