Security Officer

ProTac Security is currently looking for experienced security officers to join our team!

We have several openings on the Central Coast, see list of Available Shifts below.

ProTac is proud to provide a premier level of security to select Clients on the Central Coast.

In addition to the requirements below, you must have experience related to proactive security as well as have a drive to deliver services in the most proactive and professional manner.

Job Description

As a Security Officer for ProTac Security, you will help ensure a safe and secure environment for our Clients. To accomplish that you will perform a variety of functions that include:

• Maintain a professional and courteous presence while interacting with Client, their employees, and their customers
  • Make periodic patrols by foot or vehicle to secure areas, deter crimes, and check for irregularities and inspect security systems and physical barriers.
• Preserve order and enforce regulations pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Monitor camera and alarm systems for unauthorized entry to premises.
• Enforce rules and regulations at Client direction

As you perform these duties, you may be asked to do them during the following:

• During Weekends and Holidays
• With varying shifts
• Working overnight hours
• Working in inclement weather (rain, cold, sun, heat)
• Required to stand, sit, and walk or a combination for extended periods of time

Minimum Requirements

·         Be at least 18 years of age

·         Current California Guard Registration (Guard Card)

·         Reliable transportation

·         A cellphone that you can communicate with

·         Ability to view your schedule and training online

·         Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the job (See Below)

Desired Qualifications

·         California Exposed Firearm Permit

·         OC, TASER, and/or Baton Permit

·         CPR/AED, and/or First Aid

Sat/Sun 7am-3pm San Luis Obispo

Sat/Sun 8am-4pm Santa Maria

Sat/Sun 8am-4pm Grover Beach

Sat/Sun 4pm-12am Santa Maria

Mon-Fri 7pm-12am Grover Beach

Full Time

5 Days 12am-8am Grover Beach

5 Days 3pm-11pm San Luis Obispo
