We are looking for a dedicated, flexible, hard-working individual to join our production team. We need someone to set up and operate two types of CNC cutters and assist in a variety of production tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment. You need to know how to use a computer, be comfortable around machinery, know how to use basic tools, perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods, climb ladders and lift 60 lb. boxes.
We work closely in a friendly, positive team atmosphere, and need someone who can be part of the team as well as work independently. The position requires commitment, patience, a focus on quality and attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and operate two CNC machines and related equipment to cut large plastic and acrylic sheets into multiple size and shape tags. Demonstrates knowledge of feeds and speeds, and a working knowledge of various cutting tools and their application. Selects appropriate settings and makes adjustments for tool offsets and locating coordinates to complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner. Produces quality and quantity of work as required. Assures accurate recording of vital information such as counts, scrap, time, etc. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs preventative maintenance as required.

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- CNC operation experience is preferred; technical degree is a plus.
- Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Understanding of production procedures.
- Must have demonstrated mechanical ability.
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
- Feed raw material or parts to CNC machines.
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Inspect parts to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Physical stamina and strength
- Repetitive bending, lifting, reaching, stooping, walking; non-sedentary
