Human Resources Management Subject Matter Expert (HRM SME)
We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Management Subject Matter Expert (HRM SME) to provide strategic-level support for up to six engagements annually. This role requires deep expertise in DoD / Joint environments and comprehensive experience across the HRM life cycle.
Key Details :
Engagements : Up to six per year (approximately every other month) Travel is to Jordan.
Hours Per Month :
Travel months : ~90 hours / month
Non-travel months : ~7080 hours / month.
First Engagement : January 30February 7, 2025.
Qualifications :
20 years of experience in DoD / Joint environments.
Strategic-level HR experience across the full human resources management (HRM) life cycle , with prior service in senior or key HR leadership roles.
Extensive expertise in force management , including design, shaping, and development initiatives.
Proven experience with :
Strategy, policy, and doctrine development within military or joint operations contexts.
Human Resources Command (HRC) or service-specific assignment processes.
Development and implementation of HR policies (e.g., Army G1, Navy N1, or Air Force A1).
Officer distribution and assignment processes , including tools and best practices.
Crafting officer career progression models aligned with organizational needs.
Familiarity with requirements analysis methodologies to evaluate and address HR operational needs.
Experience with Security Cooperation and Security Assistance Programs.
Responsibilities :
Provide expert guidance and recommendations on strategic HRM topics during scheduled engagements.
Support the development of HR strategies, policies, and programs to meet organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address force management and career progression challenges.
Analyze existing HR processes and tools to suggest improvements or adaptations to evolving mission requirements.
Contribute to the planning and execution of Security Cooperation / Assistance programs within the HR domain.
