Editorial Asset Coordinator
Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)
The Senior Editorial Asset Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the creative team with editorial imagery management and trafficking. This position oversees the post-photoshoot imagery process, ensuring all required files are received, uploaded, and organized in the editorial DAM. The coordinator serves as a vital part of the Creative Operations team, enabling the seamless execution of creative content development and retouching processes.
Responsibilities:
- Editorial DAM Administration:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the editorial DAM system.
- Manage user accounts, troubleshoot issues, and address back-end errors or outages.
- Onboard new users and provide training on the DAM system.
- Photoshoot and Asset Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Director of Shoot Production to understand shoot schedules, contract negotiations, and technical requirements.
- Content Management:
- Enter metadata into the editorial DAM system upon asset ingestion.
- Partner with Creative and Pre-Media teams to ensure they have all necessary materials for content development and retouching.
- Operational Support:
- Assist with product tracking and floorset launch timelines.
- Facilitate internal and external asset requests (e.g., models, photographers).
- Create one-pagers, decks, and other documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in creative services or DAM management.
- Proficient in DAM systems, metadata management, and asset organization.
- Experience with Frame.io is a plus.
- Creative thinker with a passion for finding operational efficiencies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Experience in the fashion retail industry is a plus.
