Textile Coordinator Graphic Technologist- Women's Retail
Job Details:
Individual contributor position responsible for assisting the Textile Technologists in all aspects of the fabric ad color development process, including garments and components to assure final product quality.
Textile Science degree, or equivalent experience.
2-3 years experience in textiles.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to track readiness of product with overseas factories
Background in design/graphic design a plus
Ability to multitask- work on multi product seasons at once
Ability to detail out a graphic to send to a factory to be made.
This role will live within the graphics department- specifically supporting the technical team. Our role is to work with the overseas factories to execute design intent from graphic and product designers- specifically the graphics. Workflow for this role will be sending out artwork to overseas vendors and work with them to get graphics submitted to NY. This role with partner with the factory to ensure accurate execution and support technically when needed. Tracking of readiness for these strike offs and communicate these dates with our cross-functional partners to ensure on time delivery for milestone meetings. This role will also support creating spec packs for graphic development. Product/Graphic Design degree or equivalent. 2-3 years’ experience preferred. As we work on such a tight calendar- the need for this support will continue each season.
