What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Practice - Geriatrics Physician position at Protean Med Inc?
Position serves as Outpatient PCP and skilled facility
The schedule for this full-time opportunity is Monday Friday, 8:00 am 4:30 pm. On average, there are seven (7) on-call days (evenings/weekends) with weekend telephone triage.
Number of patients that the provider will be seeing in a day varies from 2-8 per day
Must have a valid driver s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation
EMR: TruChart
Not accepting new grads. A minimum of one (1) year working with the frail or elderly population required.
Candidate must be interested in Perm (not accepting Locums)
Open to J1 visa candidates
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - REQUIRED
Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine - PREFERRED
MA license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
CDS Certification & DEA Verbal Confirmation Registration (prior to start) - REQUIRED
Minimum 1 year working with the frail or elderly population - REQUIRED
BLS (prior to start) - REQUIRED
Clean/Clear malpractice - HIGHLY PREFERRED
EMR TruChart experience - HIGHLY PREFERRED
