The Nocturnist Physician will work in a hospital medicine program, providing care for 15-18 patients per shift while enjoying a supportive physician environment with flexible scheduling. - The selected candidate will join an established, directly employed, hospital medicine program. Enjoy excellent colleagues, strong system practice support, flexible scheduling, and a physician friendly environment.
- Closed ICU
- Nocturnists have to run rapids and codes. ICU providers handle ICU Hospitalists do not have to.
- No required procedures
- Shifts are 12-hours (7:00 pm 7:00 am), 7 on/7 off.
- The average daily census is 15-18 patients per physician per day.
- APPs are also part of our team.
- Accepting upcoming 2025 and recent grads who are working toward BC, as well as experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Open to H-1B visa candidates, but cannot accept J-1 waivers
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility working toward BC) or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine - REQUIRED
- NY License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- DEA (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Clean Malpractice/License - HIGHLY PREFERRED
