The Anesthesiology - Cardiac Physician specializes in providing anesthesia for cardiac surgeries, covering cardiac call from Monday to Thursday, and general call on weekends. The physician will manage an average of 1 cardiac surgery per day alongside 5-7 general cases in a hospital setting, requiring Board Certification in Cardiac Anesthesiology and several necessary certifications and licenses. This position accepts H1B visa candidates and is open to Locum candidates with significant experience in cardiac and general anesthesia procedures.
- This position will cover Cardiac surgeries and provide Cardiac call Monday Thursday. General Weekend call will be six weekends per year and one holiday per year. Call pay for Cardiac procedures Anesthesia performed in the hospital when on call. If no Cardiac cases are scheduled during the week, the provider will be assigned general cases.
- Practice Setting : Hospital based.
- Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day : Cardiac surgeries 1 / day, but not every day; 5-7 general cases / day. Must help cover general if no cardiac cases.
- Patient Age Demographic : Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric. Very sick children are sent to other hospitals better staffed / equipped for children.
- Number of Operating Rooms : 8 in use at one time
- Accepting H1B visa candidates (no J1)
