Maintenance Technician III

Our client, a full-service provider of complex structural parts and assemblies to aerospace and adjacent markets specializing in manufacturing some of the longest skins, stringers, and spars in the industry is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for their Park City, Kansas location!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Capabilities in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, control logic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines with a strong working knowledge of Makino systems

• Perform diversified duties to install, repair and maintain production and plant facility equipment

• Provide scheduled and unscheduled repairs of production equipment as needed

• Ability to perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities

• Complete regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities

• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions

• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties

• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision

• Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Required Education and Experience:

· High school diploma/GED or secondary education

· 5 years of Maintenance experience with an emphasis in Makino systems and Fanuc Controls

· Strong mechanical and industrial skills that can be applied to a variety of situations including, but not limited to, electrical, carpentry, machining, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC and plumbing

• Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration

• Elevated noise level

• Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day

• Must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 50 pounds with assistance

• Constant exposure to general shop conditions, including machine noise and metal dust

• Exposure to environmental elements when working outside in winter as well as summer

• Exposure to hazardous waste when handling bulbs, paints, and other RCRA wastes

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
