What You’ll Do: As a Construction Manager, you’ll lead and manage the entire construction process, from project conception to successful completion. You’ll coordinate with supervisors, trade leads, subcontractors, and your team to ensure top-notch work and project delivery. You’ll also oversee the financials, including project forecasting, cost management, billing, and vendor relations.
Key Responsibilities:

On-Site Leadership: Visit job sites daily, ensuring smooth progress, quality work, and alignment with schedules.

Safety First: Play a key role in developing a safety culture and ensuring all work meets safety standards.

Financial Management: Oversee profit & loss responsibility, manage project costs, and ensure financial targets are met.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise project teams, including Project Managers, Field Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Estimators, Sales teams, and Department Managers to ensure alignment and success.

Employee Development: Support recruitment, retention, and staff evaluations, contributing to a positive, growth-oriented environment.

Risk & Quality Management: Mitigate risks and maintain quality construction standards across all projects.

Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and present essential reports, track progress, and ensure project schedules and deliverables are met.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience: 5 years in construction management, engineering, or related field, ideally in HVAC/Mechanical/MEP.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and achieve results.

Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with construction management software.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, building products, regulations, and quality standards.

Location: Must be able to reliably commute or willing to relocate to Corpus Christi, TX.
