Position : Welder / Fabricator
City : Manteca, CA
Range of Pay : $18.00 – $25.00
Shift : 1st Shift – Working 4 days a week 10-hour days.
Possible Overtime

Job Summary :
We are currently seeking experienced and certified welders to join our team in the modular building manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding with at least 2-4 years of hands-on experience. A current 3G welding certificate from a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is required. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to become a permanent part of the team.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform welding operations on modular building components, including steel and other materials.
Ensure all welds meet the required quality standards and adhere to safety protocols.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
Utilize welding equipment to fabricate, assemble, and repair modular building components.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are safely stored.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment.
Qualifications :
3G Welding Certificate from a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), with current certification required.
2-4 years of experience as a welder, preferably in a manufacturing or modular building environment.
Proficient in reading blueprints and welding symbols.
Experience with various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in welding.
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment :
This position is temp to perm, offering the possibility of full-time employment with benefits after the probationary period.
No travel is required; work will be done locally at the warehouse.
Full-time hours, with potential for overtime based on project needs.
