Position : Inventory Lead

City : Manteca, CA

Range of Pay : $20.00 to $22.00

Shift : 1st Shift / 4 days a week, 10 hour days

Type : Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary :

The Inventory clerk will oversee inventory activities within the manufacturing warehouse. This role is essential in ensuring accurate inventory tracking, efficient stock management, and adherence to quality standards. The Inventory Clerk will collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow and support overall operational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods.

Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies in stock levels.

Implement and maintain inventory control systems and best practices.

Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and trends.

Maintain accurate documentation related to inventory transactions and processes.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding inventory handling and storage.

Promote a culture of safety within the inventory team.

Work closely with production and procurement teams to align inventory levels with manufacturing schedules.

Assist in the development of inventory forecasts and demand planning.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in inventory, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

Work Environment :

This position may require standing for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

The Inventory Lead will work in a warehouse environment, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures and machinery.
