Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber with commercial plumbing experience to join our team in a local warehouse setting. This role involves working on the plumbing systems for modular buildings, with the potential for a permanent position after a temporary period. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial plumbing, be comfortable working in a warehouse environment, and possess strong troubleshooting and installation skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in modular buildings.
Install water lines, sewer lines, and other plumbing systems according to blueprints and building codes.
Perform inspections and tests on plumbing systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the warehouse and on the job site.
Work closely with the project manager, general contractor, and other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
Comply with all safety standards, codes, and regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and productive workflow.
Qualifications :
Valid Journeyman Plumber Experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial plumbing experience.
Knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices.
Strong experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial or modular construction.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Must have own hand tools and be comfortable with power tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks efficiently.
Ability to work in a warehouse and factory setting, lifting and carrying equipment as needed.
Work Environment :
This position is temp to perm, offering the possibility of full-time employment with benefits after the probationary period.
No travel is required; work will be done locally at the warehouse.
Full-time hours, with potential for overtime based on project needs.
