We are looking for a motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team! As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing industrial welding systems. You will have the opportunity to solve problems in engineering design and participate in industry development.Objectives of this role-Understand our client's coil joining needs and design an appropriate welding system to satisfy their needs.-Serve as a leader, representing the customer, company, and engineering department.-Analyze mechanical designs and refine them per customer , keeping in mind the budget, timelines, and other essential resources.-Report to Mechanical Engineer Manager regarding the status of projects.-Attending meetings with customers and internal staff members regarding projects.-Prepare calculations on our machine designs to ensure safety and success.-Be able to follow directions, multi-task project priorities and have a strong desire to meet deadlines.-Use AutoCAD, Solidworks and PDM to design our welding machines. -Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices.Required skills and Qualifications-Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering-Prior experience working as a mechanical engineer (machine design preferred)-Experience working with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks and PDM-Knowledgeable in detailing engineering drawings and 3D modelling.-Understanding of large machine design (cylinders, motors, etc.)-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.-Exceptional time management and organizational skills.-Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.-Attentive to detail and critically minded.-Strong computer and mathematical skills
