Specific Responsibilities-Perform and document required inspections and tests on material and products in various stages of completion-Prepare metallurgical samples as needed-Conduct and document product and process audits as directed-Maintain and order inventory of test materials-Record and interpret test results-Support in the resolution of customer concerns -Support / Guide other departments regarding product quality-Maintain Hold area status, take inventory, and relocate product as required-Identify and segregate non-conforming material and provide input for reporting-Complete documentation and computer data entry-Coordinate gauge calibration and support with PPAP requirements-Support with Gauge R&R's and MSA's-Prepare shipment certifications in accordance with customer requirementsHours : 7 : 30am-4 : 00pmQualifications-Secondary school diploma or equivalent.-Ability to read, comprehend and document all associated forms, reports and standards in English-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings - Knowledge of GD&T-Demonstrated excellent attention to detail for product inspection and data entry-Ability to set up, operate and verify all lab measuring and test equipment -Ability to use good judgment regarding product movement priorities based on schedules and urgent demands-Ability to prepare reports on product testing-Accuracy and attention to detail in part inspection and data entry-Intermediate computer skills for data entry and use of company software-Ability to set up sorting equipment-Ability to operate a forklift
