Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services ( We are currently looking for a CAD Technician to join our team for a construction project.
Project : Bridge Project
Estimated duration of the position : 6 months - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him / her continuity.
Summary
The CAD Technician will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate technical drawings to support the design and construction of highway infrastructure projects. This role involves collaborating closely with design engineers, project managers, and technical teams to ensure that all drawings comply with project requirements, industry standards, and deadlines.
Responsibilities :
Meeting with engineers, draftsmen, and designers to review blueprints and design drawings.
Inputting design specifications into the CAD software.
Creating surface and solid CAD models according to client specifications.
Working with a design team and individually on CAD projects.
Reviewing CAD models with the client and making minor adjustments.
Conducing final model rendering and delivering the final product.
Completing job reports.
Working hours : Monday to Friday : 7 am - 5 pm (100% on-site)
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in engineering or design.
AutoCAD and Civil 3D expertise.
Previous experience as a CAD technician in bridge / highway / heavy civil construction projects or similar.
Advanced knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software.
Ability to read and translate blueprints and technical drawings.
Basic understanding of building design and mechanical processes.
Ability to work as part of a team and individually on projects.
A keen eye for detail.
