Company Overview
We are an international company specializing in engineering and technical services. We are currently looking for a qualified Land Surveyor to join our team for a Road Construction Project in Miami.
Location: Miami, Florida
Duration: 3 months - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 hours/day (1-hour lunch break)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Land Surveyor to support a major infrastructure project in Miami. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field surveys, preparing maps and documentation, verifying data, and ensuring precise site measurements to support construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports of legal survey descriptions.
- Verify field data and calculations.
- Record and document survey results.
- Calculate site measurements and dimensions.
- Write detailed descriptions of property boundaries.
- Research legal documents, land titles, and previous records to resolve discrepancies.
- Perform site stakeouts, data collection, and leveling.
- Utilize surveying software and operate Total Station, Level, and GPS systems.
- Frequently inspect and supervise site operations, including active construction areas.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in land surveying and construction supervision.
- Proficiency with surveying instruments and software tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
