About the role
A Protect Life Michigan (PLM) Operations Assistant carries out the mission of PLM by facilitating administrative tasks that support the daily operations, onboarding, gifts processing, and other functions that keep the organization running smoothly. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this individual will help ensure that Protect Life Michigan's databases and processes are maintained and accurate.
This is a part-time position. The candidate will typically work 11-15 hours per week.
What you'll do
- Facilitate staff onboarding by completing tasks such as registering for support raising bootcamps, booking travel, creating email accounts, mailing materials, sending training access, and setting up accounts in software platforms.
- Monitor and review the "donor namestorming" wait bin as part of onboarding processes.
- Aid in monitoring Bill transactions to ensure proper financial oversight.
- Regularly monitor and manage the organization's Gmail inbox to address incoming inquiries and correspondence.
- Conduct monthly audits of Google Drive to ensure it remains organized and clutter-free.
- Perform monthly reviews of Mailchimp to maintain clean and efficient email campaign management.
- Assist with the drafting, review, and implementation of organizational policies.
- Review suspected phishing emails and take appropriate action to protect the organization's cybersecurity.
- Contact donors with expiring payment methods to ensure continuity of contributions.
- Audit Neon CRM accounts to identify and merge duplicate profiles.
- Periodically attend or assign staff to attend events and outreaches to assist in the missional work of Protect Life Michigan
- Assist in other projects as needed
