Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to protect and serve within the vibrant hospitality industry?

Protect-US Private Security is seeking a dedicated and proactive Hotel Security Guard to join our team as patrol for a prestigious hotel located in Downtown Los Angeles, California.

Shift is Friday- Saturday 3PM-11PM

As a member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment by patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance cameras, and conducting regular security checks throughout the hotel premises.

Greet and assist guests with professionalism, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience while adhering to established security procedures.

Monitor access points, including entrances, exits, and parking areas, to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure the safety of guests and employees.

Respond promptly to emergency situations such as medical incidents, accidents, fires, or other security-related incidents. Take appropriate action, including alerting emergency services and providing first aid if required.

Handle and resolve conflicts or disturbances among guests or staff in a calm and professional manner, using tact and discretion to diffuse potentially volatile situations.

Collaborate with hotel management and staff to implement and enforce security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, accidents, or suspicious activities, documenting findings and preparing detailed reports for management and law enforcement agencies if necessary.

Provide escorts to guests and employees upon request, ensuring their safety and well-being during their time on the premises.

Act as a visible deterrent to potential criminal activity by maintaining a strong presence and professional appearance at all times.

Shift is FT / Mon-Sat 10pm-6am

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in security management or related field is a plus.

Excellent observational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and effectively with guests, employees, and law enforcement personnel.

Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.

Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures and first aid / CPR certification.

Familiarity with security equipment such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

CA Guard Card Needed
