We are looking to add a Front-Line Leader to our Reno, NV location!
The Front-Line Leader is responsible for leading a team of frontline employees, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the highest level of safety, productivity and efficiency within their assigned area. The Front-Line Leader will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, and driving continuous improvement to achieve area Key Process Indicators (KPIs).
Job Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and coach a team of frontline employees to achieve performance targets.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes safety and employee engagement.
Operational Oversight (Safety, Quality, and Production):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assessing and documenting safety incidents including near misses within assigned area.
- Monitor and manage daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs of warehouse equipment, such as but not limited to forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Identify operational challenges or improvements in assigned area and implement effective and sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve overall performance.
People Management:
- Monitor employee performance against attendance, safety, and productivity standards.
- Provide feedback and coaching to employees on performance.
- Identify training needs and coordinate with area training leaders and HR to close skill gaps.
Communication:
- Establish effective communication channels within the team and with other departments.
- Provide regular updates to area and site leadership on team performance and key metrics via huddle board meetings and standard operational meetings.
People Management Tasks:

- Assign and Evaluate Work
- Review Performance Annually
- Evaluate Pay
Core Skills / Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment, prior experience as a frontline leader or team leader strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability and desire to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong attention to detail and takes a comprehensive approach to assigned tasks or projects.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Prior experience or training with Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence (Six Sigma or Lean) preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

- Frequent bending, standing, walking, lifting, and carrying,
