JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting who is responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of financial statements across all global operations, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or international financial reporting standards (IFRS). This role requires strong leadership to manage a global team, streamline financial reporting processes, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders including partnering with external vendors.
YOU ARE
Focused on Compliance . You will oversee the preparation and consolidation of global financial statements for external reporting, including lender reports, board requirements, and other key disclosures. Ensure compliance with USGAAP, IFRS, and other standards while developing and maintaining global reporting policies and procedures.
Passionate about Continuous Improvement . You will drive process improvements in financial reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Leverage technology and ERP systems to streamline global reporting activities.
A Collaborative Team Player. You will collaborate with corporate accounting, regional finance, tax, treasury, and operations teams to ensure alignment on reporting requirements and support FP&A with analysis for strategic planning. Prepare and deliver financial reports for executive management, board meetings, and investor relations while providing key insights to corporate finance for decision-making.
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESS
- Minimum of 5-8 years of financial reporting or general accounting experience, preferably in Public Accounting
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field is required. CPA preferred
- Strong communication skills and detail oriented with the ability to work independently as well as effectively in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Firm knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Able to apply consistent standards while adapting to frequent changes in Company requirements
- Be flexible and able to work with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills are required. Experience with Eclipse or similar ERP is a plus.
- Experience with consolidation and reconciliation software packages such as Planful, Hyperion, Blackline, SAP or FloQast preferred.
- Dependable, organized, and professional individual who is self-motivated and owns the required tasks.
