About the Role:
The Warehouse Inventory Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of inventory within our wholesale trade operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing stock, and facilitating the timely movement of goods in and out of the warehouse. The associate will work closely with the logistics team to ensure that all inventory is accounted for and properly stored, contributing to the overall productivity of the warehouse. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential, as the associate will be tasked with conducting regular inventory audits and reporting discrepancies. Ultimately, the success of this role directly impacts our ability to meet customer demands and maintain operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe environment.
- Complete cycle counts in the RF gun.
- Complete daily mail deliveries.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks.
- Daily housekeeping.
- Address daily inventory issues as they arise.
- Know and complete all transfer processes as needed.
- Process, receive and verify all returns.
- Learn to run inventory control reports and utilize as needed.
- Work overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have equipment experience on 5 High Forklift and Cherry Picker.
- Must cross train in 1-2 departments.
- Basic math skills (add /subtract/multiply/divide).
- The ability to follow directions and work independently.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Be able to work on computer as needed.
- Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to stand, walk, twist, pull, push, reach, and bend
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs
- Work environment: distribution center that is not temperature controlled
