We are looking to add a Warehouse Order Selector to our team in Guilderland Center, NY!
The Warehouse Order Selector role is responsible for the picking of both customer and/or intercompany orders. To ensure success as a Warehouse Order Selector, you should exhibit advanced organization and communication skills, have the ability to stand for long hours, follow standard processes, be comfortable with manual labor in a light industrial environment, and have excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure order accuracy by verifying product numbers and quantities.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures when operating equipment and handling products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient order selecting.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist in managing warehouse inventory accuracy.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding order status and any issues encountered.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
- Select accurate orders for shipping out products.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required.
- Previous work experience as a Warehouse Order Selector preferred.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Reach Truck/Walkie pallet jack experience preferred.
- Ability and willingness to follow standard process as directed by leader.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to work Independently with little supervision.
- Ability to lift and lower up to 50lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.
