We are currently seeking a dedicated Piping Superintendent to oversee and manage the work of Pipefitters and Welders on multiple project sites. This is a traveling position that offers exciting opportunities to work on high-impact industrial projects across various locations.
Responsibilities:
As a Piping Superintendent, you will supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Pipefitters and Welders, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Supervise and manage the installation, fabrication, and welding of piping systems in industrial environments.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders to guide work activities.
- Order and maintain necessary materials, tools, and equipment for each project.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor and adjust work schedules to meet project deadlines, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee the work performance of Pipefitters and Welders, conducting timely performance reviews and resolving any work-related issues.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with other trades and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder or Pipefitter in industrial settings, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Welding Certifications (AWS, ASME, etc.) are highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or Foreman role is a plus.
- Ability to travel to various project sites.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other trades.
Per Diem:
A competitive per diem is provided to cover travel expenses.
