What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Pickup Specialist position at ProTek Recycling, Inc.?
ProTek Recycling, Incorporated is seeking a lead pickup specialist to be a part of our pick-up crews removing electronics from office buildings and ensuring a quality customer experience, and proper equipment handling. Lead pickup specialists ensure the proper pickup procedures are being followed, equipment in removed in an efficient manner, equipment is tracked and handled properly and oversee and make sure other pickup specialists are trained and following pickup procedures. The Lead Pickup Specialist interfaces with clients/property managers where the equipment is located and will be required to provide stellar customer service. Standard routes are day trips to NYC, Boston and the Capital Region. All routes leave from Watervliet, NY.
Supervisor experience, further education beyond high school or computer technology experience is preferred.

When not performing pickups, this position will also work in the warehouse to unload trucks, provide continued training of pickup procedures, and process inventory.
Pickup shifts typically begin at 5 or 6am. Reliable method to get to work is required. Shifts lengths vary between 8 and 12 hours long. 4-day or 5-day work weeks are available on weekdays (Monday to Friday).

Requirements:
- Prior experience in delivery/pickup industry (preferred)
- 18 years old
- Background Check
- Drug screening throughout employment (non-marijuana)
- Able to lift, pull, push 75 lbs throughout the work shift
- Punctual and reliable: runs leave around 5am
- GED/HS Diploma
