Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team. The Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure the efficient production of goods.
Duties
- Operate machinery to fabricate, package, or handle materials
- Perform machining tasks as needed
- Set-up, operate, trouble shoot, and preventative maintenance of solution filling lines, vial cappers, and tray loading lines.
- Perform fill weight checks, oxygen in headspace analysis, and bottle torque checks on filled product containers.
- Set up and perform sterile solution filtration processes.
- Unloading racks of sterilized equipment from autoclaves and depyrogenated glassware from ovens.
- Operate autoclaves, both for sterilization of equipment and for terminally sterilizing product.
- Operate vial and ampoule washers, in conjunction with dry heat ovens to prepare the components for aseptic processing.
- Clean and prepare filling gear/equipment for use on multiple filling operations. Completion of batch record paperwork, as well as reviews of applicable SOP's and other pertinent documentation.
- Adhere to Lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes
- Utilize forklifts and warehouse equipment for material handling
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
Skills
- Proficiency in laboratory operations
- Experience in machining processes
- Ability to fabricate materials as required
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Forklift operation expertise
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures
- Strong skills in materials handling
- Understanding of CGMP regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.42 - $26.00 per hour
