Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative will proactively manage customer accounts to ensure the highest level of customer support. This role will build rapport with customers to increase sales and look for new opportunities to serve their needs.
Essential Functions

- Serve as the central point-of-contact for all PCA external inquiries.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with all relevant stakeholders.
- Initiates sales communications to existing customers to assess the need for replenishing inventories
- Calls on and creates relationships with potential customers, or leads, to cultivate new business
- Provides ongoing customer service on existing accounts
- May conduct an on-site visit to customer or host customer visits to the facility, including presenting our company and products.
- Participates in contract review meetings to solicit manufacturing feasibility input from engineering
- Attend Material Review Board meetings as needed
- Issues quotations to customers and confirms details
- Update and maintain customer list in ERP
- Work with operations, both local and globally – factories, corporate leadership and sales locations
- Issues order confirmations, corrections, and processing assistance
- Obey all safety rules, use caution in work activities, and continuously practice safe behaviors
- Immediately report unsafe conditions/behaviors and work-related injuries to site supervision
Qualifications
Required
- Associates degree and working towards 4 year degree
- Strong math skills, proficient in advanced algebra
- Minimum of 3 years of office work experience, specifically working with customers
- Skilled in working in ERP in manufacturing environment
- Willingness to have a flexible work schedule to support timely communications with US customers and global factories
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, often demanding environment
- Ability to take instruction and apply using judgment in various situations
- Strong interpersonal skills required
- Must be a team player
- Reasoning ability in decision-making
- High level of communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Outlook
Preferred
- Ability to work with inventory control and knowledge of maintaining stock merchandise
- Wire and Cable manufacturing or similar experience
