Position Title: PRA Safety Case SME
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract PRA Safety Case SME opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support resolution of advanced heat exchanger and system interaction safety concerns as a part of an integrated team.
- Apply PRA knowledge through the LMP process to the design of the system and heat exchanger
- As a subject matter expert (SME), guide heat exchanger / system design and safety case through application of ASME BPVC and deterministic evaluations.
- B.S. or higher in a relevant Engineering discipline from an accredited university and 16 years direct experience with proven nuclear systems design skills.
- Demonstrated expertise supporting advanced reactor development through LMP, PRA, HRA, etc.
- Knowledge of sodium and/or salt system and component designs highly desired.
- Excellent communication and complexity management/organization skills.
- Attention to detail and aspiration for excellence.
- Candidate must be a self-starter and possess ability to coordinate a cross-functional effort with minimal direction.
- Strong communication skills desired.
- The service provider will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect, and a desire to foster teamwork.
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: 100% Remote Acceptable
- Pay Rate Range: $102-$125/hr
- Export control regulations require candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Legal Permanent Resident, or of a protected person status
