Position Title: Software Engineer - DevOps

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract Software Engineer - DevOps opportunity located in Broomfield, CO

Job Responsibilities:

• Define, design, develop, test, certify and improve cutting-edge software products. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems.
• Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process.
• Design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle.
  
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
• Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Understanding of industry standard software languages such as C, C#, C , HTML, Java, Python, and Bash
• Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines (preferably using GitHub or GitLab)
• Demonstrated ability to deploy code to production environments, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral
• Experienced with data structures

• Location: Broomfield, CO
• Pay Rate Range: $50 – 91/hr
• ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C.
