Join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate.
This position is ONSITE based in North Carolina.
You Will:
- Responsible for shipping out all domestic and international customer packages according to procedures by following checklists and work instructions
- Responsible for making sure all drop-ship packages are shipped with the proper identity using only generic packaging
- Determine appropriate carrier and method of shipment required to meet internal and external customer demands
- Responsible for correct part count for each order
- Correspond with Quoting to resolve customer service issues, including, but not limited to: shipping errors, order entry errors, late orders, packing slip/part count/PO discrepancies
- Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization
- Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance
- Determine when additional support is required to achieve shipping quota for the day
- Train other employees as needed on shipping and receiving process per work instructions
- May provide work direction for evening and weekend support staff
- Receive incoming shipments according to procedures and work instructions to ensure the integrity of the inventory system
- Assist in restocking of inventory while receiving
- May assist in the removal and disposal of contaminated materials according to procedures
- Clean and finish 3D printed / manufactured parts, using appropriate equipment and tools to prepare parts according to customer specifications
- Effectively use all checklists associated with the cleaning and finishing of 3D printed / manufactured parts.
- Maintain a "resin" free work environment outside of the specific part cleaning area.
- Observe all safety and quality procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
You Have:
- Ability to use computer and calculator, Experience with Windows computing environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on one task for extended periods is required
- Must have a strong service and quality focus
- Able to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment
- Must be able to actively contribute in a team based environment; encourage open communication and positively interact with peers and management to effectively reach a common goal
- Must regard safety as a core value
You're Standing Out With:
- Prior experience using UPS and FedEx shipping software and international shipments
- 12 - 18 months of model finishing experience (internal)
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands:
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is expected to sit and stand for the entire shift, lift up to 50 pounds waist high, carry up to 50 pounds alone. Essential job duties require reaching, bending, and grasping. Able to read machine-shop gages and indicators.
Work Environment:
Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in a manufacturing setting requiring normal safety precautions (eye protection and hearing protection). Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
