About the Opportunity

As a Ceph Expert, you'll be at the core of our customer-facing team, designing, deploying, and supporting advanced data storage solutions. You’ll be the trusted advisor, applying your skills to solve storage challenges while also guiding customers in understanding our solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Working closely with customers and the Sales team to architect storage solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Deploying and managing Ceph clusters, optimizing them for performance and reliability.
• Developing technical resources on Ceph storage best practices, and provide technical demonstrations to customers.
• Troubleshooting network setups and manage virtualization platforms like Proxmox and VMware.
• Providing customer insights to R&D, Marketing, and Sales teams, contributing to the ongoing improvement of our solutions.
• Maintaining stringent security measures and resolve storage issues, ensuring high-quality, dependable service for clients.

What you bring to the role: 

• Strong working knowledge of Ceph, including cluster configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced Linux skills, including storage management and permissions.
• Experience in configuring and optimizing storage systems.
• Advanced networking experience, including routing, switching, and troubleshooting.
• Strong ability to convey complex technical details clearly, with fluent English proficiency.
• Skilled in developing customer-friendly documentation and guides.
• Dedication to exceptional customer service, education, and engagement.
• Strong familiarity with server hardware and components.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Proxmox and VMware for virtualization support.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Podman.
• Knowledge of backup software, such as Veeam or Commvault.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or Ansible.

💰 Competitive Compensation: Starting annual salary range from $90,000-$170,000 USD depending on experience and qualifications (inclusive of base salary and performance incentive).
