Auto Technician Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Automotive Mechanic specializing in engine work to join our team. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of engine components, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance services in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect vehicles for signs of wear and tear and report any issues to the service advisor or technician team.
• Change engine oil, replace oil filters, and replenish other vehicle fluids such as coolant, transmission, and brake fluid.
• Lubricate components such as chassis, suspension, and steering.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Ensure that all safety and environmental protocols are followed during services.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining service work and recommending any additional services when necessary.
• Keep accurate service records and logs for all performed work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance.
• Previous experience in an automotive environment is a plus but not required (training will be provided).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills:

• ASE certifications or relevant automotive training.
• Experience with lubricants and automotive fluids.
• Ability to operate basic automotive tools and equipment.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with German luxury and performance cars such as Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW, and Porsche.
• Familiarity with emissions systems, electronic control units (ECU), and drivetrain components.
• Capabilities in performance tuning and enhancements.
