seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to serve as a Subject Matter Expert II in designing, developing, and optimizing solutions within Microsoft 365 (M365) Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, along with strong knowledge of M365 tools like Teams, Stream, Forms, Planner, and Delve. This role requires experience with Azure services (Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps), security configurations, and change management processes using Atlassian Jira and Bitbucket. The developer will collaborate closely with contractor teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative and secure business solutions.
Duties
- Provide architectural design of visualization Dashboards, Reports and Apps using power BI Desktop and Services Platform, SharePoint Plugins and SSRS reporting tool.
- Work with Power Platform stakeholders to identify changes that need to be made on their individual systems.
- Designing and implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
- Create new, maintain existing and assist customers with creating interactive, immersive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI
- Perform impact analysis on the change request and estimate the LOE.
- Modify the system and conduct testing to ensure the change meets requirements.
- Review system data structures, customer requirements, application format and functionality, as well as recommend improvements, enhancements and/or changes to the systems, provide analytics, and maintain technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Assist the prime contractor with preparing required documentation (e.g. reports and briefings, configuration change approval documentation, and CCB documents) for submittal to designated personnel and the appropriate agency change management boards for review and approval before implementation.
- Serve as a participating member and Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and the M365 Power Platform subject matter expert for the OCIO Intake Process.
- Work collaboratively with the prime contractor, the security engineering resources and functions to optimize the Agency s information security posture, with appropriate approvals in place.
- Provide assistance to users to generate reports against the system.
- Perform change control activities in accordance with configuration management (CM) policies and procedures in order to correct system defects, which would include operating system patching, Change Request (CRQ) for release/deployment change management.
- Create and maintain an upgrade plan of all software necessary to operate the system and upgrade the system components in accordance with the plan.
- Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot Power Platform components
- integrate systems and convert data; Build Power Apps; Automate processes; Build Power BI reports
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelors Degree with 12 to 15 years of technical and related experience in:
- SharePoint Online Developer and SharePoint Server 2010, 2013
- Microsoft Power Apps, OneDrive, Power Automate and Power BI.
- SharePoint Plugins and SSRS reporting tool
- SharePoint content and site migrations.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016
- Microsoft Windows Server 2016
- Atlassian Jira and Bitbucket
- Microsoft 365 applications
