The Corporate Response Officer will work in different corporate locations across New York City. We have full time positions available; these positions require flexibility to work different shifts as well as weekend based on operational needs.

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Prevent damage or injury by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; deter trespassers.
- Respond to alarms or calls of distress.
- Complies with all Post Orders for site
- Identify visitors and ask for appropriate documentation
- Use radios, computers and/or cell phones to stay in contact with Security personnel
- Call for Police assistance if necessary
- Shares knowledge of site responsibilities with new employees
- Regulate and monitor building systems
- Operate screening machinery including X-ray machines, magnetometers, and wands
- Keep a professional disposition, helping customers, employees, visitors, and guests on client’s property
- Welcome customers, visitors, staff, tenants, guests in a professional and pleasant manner at all times
- Officer is expected to become familiar with incoming and outgoing traffic, know the customers, tenants, visitors, and guests
- Maintain a visible presence in client’s property during your assigned shift
- Observe the environment with the ability to prevent, detect and report any suspicious and/or unsafe activity around the premises of assigned building
- Monitor the entrances and exits
- Perform security patrols of designated areas
- Learn the building policies and procedures; and apply them to daily responsibilities
- Follow established emergency action planning and procedures
- Investigate and prepare detailed reports on incidents, suspicious activities and/or accidents, as required by your supervisor
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including all shifts, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to report to work on time in all types of weather
- Must be able to meet Face to Face Relief criteria by extending past shift off times while waiting for post relief, working over 8 hours in a shift (adhering to applicable Federal and state Overtime regulations if applicable)
- Must be able to work outside for extended periods of time in all types of weather, including rain, snow, extreme cold and extreme heat.
- Some lifting required of up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Education: High school diploma/GED
- 18 years of age
- Security Guard training and/or license (or be willing to obtain)
- Have the legal right to work in the United States
- Driver’s License (if contractually required)
- State Photo Identification
- Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment screening requirements
- Fireguard license (if contractually required)
- Criminal Background check (if contractually required)
- Verifiable Security Experience (between 1 year to 3 years depending on contract)
- Previous employment verification
- A competitive compensation package.
- The rate for this role is $ 17.50 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, skill level, functional and/or industry knowledge, education level, certifications, as well as other qualifications.
