o Position Summary The role of the Quality Engineer Level I is to assist Quality Manager in the maintenance and communication of the companies Quality Management System. Assists with the planning and implementation of company procedures and work instructions. Works to ensure customer quality requirements and ISO standards are met. This position also aids the Quality Admin department to assure quality requirements and timely delivery to the customer are met. Also provides solutions to issues impacting process and product quality. Works with all functions to ensure quality requirements are recognized and satisfied. Conducts internal audits to ensure continued compliance to QMS and regulatory requirement
Essential Functions
- Work independently with attention to detail and customer requirements
- Proficient at First Article Inspection (FAI) and able to utilize AS9102 format reporting
- Assure the requirements of our ISO 9001 / AS9100 / ISO13485 and other applicable Quality Management Systems are followed
- Assist other functional areas with resolving quality related issues
- Assist with NCR and RMA dispositions
- Communicate problem resolution to Quality Manager, including assisting with Corrective Action Plans and Root Cause Analysis
- Support all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Wear proper PEE for job function being performed
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with Quality Reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
