The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for directing and managing an effective clinical service delivery team by applying principles of Social Work and/or Counseling. These principles include patient psychosocial assessments, individual and group psychotherapy, family interventions, patient and family education, and treatment planning. The ideal candidate must have an addiction counseling certification in good standing or an appropriate license.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Participate in reviewing clinical issues and developing programs, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the Director of Outpatient Services to meet or exceed DPH and BSAS licensure requirements and CARF accreditation.
- Lead the clinical team by modeling cultural responsiveness and affirmative practices, providing training and targeted supervision as needed.
- Provide induction and training for new clinicians upon onboarding.
- Offer regular individual and group supervision to clinicians, ensuring consistent documentation.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
- Direct supervision of clinical staff.
- Master's degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field: clinical psychology, social work, mental health counseling, educational counseling, medicine, psychiatric nursing, or rehabilitative counseling.
- A minimum of two years of experience working in the mental health field, including substance use treatment and working with clients and their families across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults).
- LICSW or LMHC is a minimum requirement to supervise and lead the clinical team and interns.
- LADC I or an equivalent qualification in alcohol and addiction treatment is preferred.
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR)/Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings, including Adam Walsh/DCF background check, CORI, and drug screening.
- This position primarily operates in a clinical setting.
- Occasional work outside the clinic, such as in local schools, may be required.
- While some tasks are sedentary, the employee will be required to stand for periods or move throughout the clinic.
