About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced diagnostic imaging technician to join our team at Protouch Staffing. As a diagnostic imaging technician, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to capture accurate and detailed images of patients' internal structures.
- Position patients correctly on the scanner bed to ensure optimal image quality.
- Administer contrast agents as necessary to enhance image clarity.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control procedures and disposing of biohazardous waste properly.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging.
- ARRT MRI registration.
- Ability to work 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including days.
- Current certifications and licenses in diagnostic imaging.
