Summary

This position requires a combination of proactive leadership, strategic planning, financial acumen, philanthropic experience, and operational expertise.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hospital and system leadership, senior clinical and administrative staff, and Development leadership, to establish strategic priorities and ensure operational excellence for the BMCHS Development portfolio.
- Lead the strategic planning process in conjunction with the VP & CDO and other executive leadership team members ;own and manage the implementation of the strategy; track and report on performance and progress; ensure timely attainment of milestones and production of work aligned with strategic goals.
- Directly supervise a team of 20 : advance strengths and fundraising best practices, identify training and career growth opportunities for staff members, and oversee the entire employee management structure of the team.
- Serve as Development's point of contact with Legal & Finance to ensure compliance with all laws and BMC policies.
- Minimum of 15 years of operations and development experience in sizable, intricate organizations, with at least 10 years in a leadership role driving operations and performance outcomes.
- Experience managing data and converting it into actionable information
- Experience leading organizational change with diverse constituencies and capacity building at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's Degree - Required; Masters preferred
