Family Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Residency
We are seeking a qualified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our residency program in Fitchburg, MA.
Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Assistance:
$5,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 relocation assistance through reimbursement.
Job Summary and Responsibilities:
- Work within your professional scope of practice and demonstrate a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine.
- Demonstrate competency by prioritizing acute illness and chronic disease states appropriately, ordering diagnostic and screening tests, and prescribing pharmacotherapy, treatments, and procedures safely and effectively.
Nurse Practitioner Clinical Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and psychosocial health/illness status through history taking and physical examination.
- Practice collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical psychologists.
- Facilitate patient care referrals to specialists and outside agencies.
Education, Licensure, and Experience:
- Must be a US citizen or foreign national with a visa permitting permanent residency in the US or non-citizen national.
- Must have a Master's or Doctoral Degree and board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Must be licensed in Massachusetts to practice in the expanded role as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
