**Physician (Internal Medicine) Position in Los Banos, CA**
Job Type: Full-time
Work Schedule:
• Monday to Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
• On-call (Approximately 7 days per month)
Immigration Assistance:
The clinic will cover or reimburse up to the first $10,000 of immigration expenses for J1/H1B visa waiver.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, prescribe, and administer treatment to patients
- Supervise and direct family nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other mid-level providers
- Oversee the performance of nursing and other support personnel
- Review laboratory, x-ray findings, and diagnosis other tests
- Document and complete electronic health records (EHR) and medical records, maintaining case histories according to the corporation's procedures
- Participate in consumer education and in-service training for support personnel
- Meet all contractual requirements
- Focus on quality of care (quality measures) and participate in peer review
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- Hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Complete a approved internship
- Be board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine
- Must be board certified or board eligible
- Current CPR certification
