Pediatrician (Physician)
We are seeking a highly skilled pediatrician to provide high-quality healthcare services to our patients under the direction and responsible supervision of our Medical Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- We require a Pediatrician with exceptional clinical skills to examine patients, take medical histories, record results, make preliminary diagnoses, and develop care plans or follow-up procedures.
- The ideal candidate will assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and updating medical histories.
- Short-term and long-range patient care issues should be identified and recommended options and courses of action should be provided.
- Diagnostics tests may need to be administered, test results interpreted, and therapeutic procedures such as immunizations, injections, and wound care performed.
- Our Pediatrician will instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, normal development, and health maintenance.
- Professional judgment regarding consultation with other physicians concerning treatment is essential.
- Developing and implementing patient care plans, instructing and counseling patients, and recording progress is crucial for this role.
- Maintaining outpatient records by documenting patient care services is also required.
Qualifications:
- A four-year undergraduate degree, 4 years of medical school earning an MD or DO degree, 1-year rotating internship, and 2 years of residency in Pediatrics are necessary qualifications.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics is mandatory.
- Completion of annual continuing medical education requirements is also required.
